DE-RACKING
This lowers the risks of damage to your cargo during transit and allows flexibility in using different transportation modes for the separated low-value and high-value parts.
THE PURPOSE OF DE-RACKING
MCGlobe's De-Racking service separates the low-valued and high-valued parts from a server rack which allows you to reduce shipping costs with lower volumes of equipment.
In addition, this lowers the risks of damage to your cargo and gives you the freedom of choice to decide on your preferred modes of transport, which will improve your turnover rates.
THE PROCESS

SERVER RACKS COLLECTION
The racks loaded with equipment are collected from the supplier and brought to the nearest warehouse facility.
EQUIPMENT DE-RACKING
We will de-rack the IT equipment from the racks as per your given instructions.

PACKING OF DE-RACKED EQUIPMENT
We will palletise and pack the de-racked equipment for export as well as provide additional services in regards to packing upon request.

HANDLING OF EMPTY RACKS
We provide scraping of empty racks only upon request.

HANDLING OF OTHER ACCESSORIES
Other accessories obtained from the De-Racking process will be kept and shipped together with the other valuable parts.
