Why is it needed?
In many instances, IT parts that are being shipped out are fully loaded and stored in tall server racks. Due to their heavyweight and height, this makes them prone to tipping over during transit, increasing the risks of your high-valued parts within the rack being damaged with everything else.
De-racking lowers the risks of damage to your cargo during transit and allows you to decide which mode of transport you wish to use for the separated low and high-value parts.
De-racking is a process that separates the low-valued and high-valued parts from a server rack. This allows our clients to reduce shipping costs with lower volumes of equipment, and improve their turnover rates by arranging for different transport options - faster transport options for high-value parts, and low-value parts to be shipped by sea.
